The Opt-Out program
Because we care about establishing a thirst for knowledge in our students, ISC-Erbil offers the SABIS® Opt-Out program. The Opt-Out program encourages students to excel both academically and develop a sense of responsibility.
Opt-Out courses are self-study courses in which students prepare the material on their own and sit for a comprehensive exam. In order to ‘opt out’ of a course, students must score a minimum of 90% in the exam. Students who achieve the minimum required result during the Opt-Out exam become involved in SLO leadership roles. During the free Opt-Out periods they spend time supporting other students, assisting their AQC and contributing to the SLO® Department.
