ISC-Erbil Launched Peer Tutoring
The SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) at ISC-Erbil wasted no time in launching the peer tutoring program at the onset of the 2014-15 academic year. The SLO® team, in coordination with AQCs, quickly identified students that needed additional academic support, then offered them tutoring sessions, in which the volunteering “peer tutors” help them understand the subject material better and refill any gaps they may know about.
Peer tutoring is one example of how students in all SABIS® member schools across the globe are strongly encouraged to take an active role in helping out their peers.
