Grades 4-6 Students Enjoy Ice Skating and Bowling Field Trip
On Saturday, October 22, 2011, more than 140 students from the International School of Choueifat- Erbil went on a field trip to Aqua Park, an ice skating and bowling center.
The students, who are in grades 4-6, sang popular songs during the bus ride to Aqua Park, while looking forward to the day ahead. Once at the amusement center, students enjoyed their time together on the ice, under the supervision of professional instructors who were on hand at the ice skating rink, while others competed enthusiastically in the bowling hall.
The outing to the amusement center was a fun activity for the students which provided them with a chance to experience teamwork that ensures students acquire a wide range of skills and experiences that prepare them to excel in university and beyond.
The field trip to Aqua Park is one of the many activities and programs organized for students by ISC-Erbil’s Student Life Organization (SLO®). Students in SLO®’s Activities Department regularly plan events and programs with the purpose of making a positive difference at their school.
