Back to school drive Back ISC-Erbil seeks to not only educate but also develop our students’ sense of community by encouraging them to display altruism all year round. One of our first acts of giving to the community was our ‘ Back To School Bags and Stationary Drive’. The students and ISC-Erbil community really showed their dedication to help those less fortunate with the donation of dozens of new bags and stationary items. The piles and piles of items were sorted and prepared for distribution by members of the Student Life Organization®. On Saturday, October 13th, The International School of Choueifat – Erbil in collaboration with RAWANGA Foundation, was able to distribute school bags and stationary to over 200 students in Tairawa Basic School, a public school located in an impoverished area of Erbil. The event is one of the many altruistic events that will occur this year. Our students are so proud that they were able to provide the tools needed to help the students of Tairawa Basic School get the most of out of their education.
